Mesh Topology

Mesh: It is also called fully interconnected topology. In this topology, every device has a point-to-point link for every other device in the network. Thus, for n devices, the total n (n-1) / 2 links will be. It allows direct communication between any two devices. This topology provides the highest degree of tolerance.
Mesh Topology, what is mesh topology
Fully Connected Mesh Topology

Advantages

→Traffic problems end because there is a dedicated link between any two devices.
→Aries topology is strong because even if a link is useless, the network does not crash.
→Point-to-point links make identities of fault and fault separation easier.
→Another advantage is privacy. Since the data is sent with a dedicated link, only the desired recipient receives it.
→This topology provides the highest reliability and security.

Disadvantages

→The main disadvantages are the number of cabling required to interconnect devices and the number of required I / O ports on each device.
→It is difficult to establish and reconnect new equipment.
→Mesh topology is expensive due to the large number of hardware requirements (cable, port).
